The Network Company?

The Network Company is an independent media organization exploring the ideas shaping the Imagination Age.

Why you should subscribe?

I first heard Imagination Age from a friend and internet inspiration Jacob, founder of Zora. I believe it’s the perfect term for where creativity and technology are headed.

Digital interfaces & ux, artificial intelligence, internet-native economics; as the famous adage goes, “the future is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed.”

The Network Company is about that future. Interesting ideas about creativity and technology in less time than those long-winded editorials no one finishes.

Who’s behind it?

LGHT - light without the I.

For the past 5 years I’ve spent my time in crypto (the frontier of the next global economy) - writing about its development, experimenting with products and applications, and creating decentralized networks like Higher.

Before that I spent a decade traveling the world. Touching down in four continents and 20+ countries; from the lush mountain-scapes of Zurich, the sky towers and endless mornings of Moscow & Helsinki, to the walled beaches of Havana, or the lively streets of Marrakesh & Tokyo.

It was through these two periods in my life that I became passionate about the intersection of humanities and technology. Seeing creativity as more than accidental genius. And technology as more than dogmatic rule-following.

After years of first hand experience with frontier-technology and worldly humanities I finally feel deserved of the Henry Thoreau quote:

"How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live." - Henry David Thoreau
